Public Displays of Affection for Display Only?
In short, it's PDA...not the small portable computer/gadget you bring around but the display of love in public. You know, giggle giggle, holding hands, hug hug, muakz muakz, rubba rubba, finding kutu(lice) on each other's hair....for everybody to see.
On my way back from work 2-3 days back, I was "fortunate" enough to be in the same carriage as this couple who was showing everybody how much they love each other.
How much you ask?
They were both holding the pole, so I don't think they will have any problems balancing themselves. Probably just give them a little spark, they'll start doing lap dancing on each other.
Then the couple holds each other tight like armageddon is coming. It's only a train ride in the mrt. -_-"
Aiyoh, show only mah....don't worry.
Then the girl rubs her head in the guy's chest as if he's barney or something. She even rubs her body on him...mmmmmm.......foreplay foreplay.
Rubba rubba!
Of course there was kissing and hugging...there was no reason to stop since they are already halfway into the PDA.
The people around them(including me) were really uncomfortable....
Would you feel weird when you see a couple like that? So hiong man....just put a bed in the mrt I think they'll put it to good use. Heeheehee....
To me, I think that a little PDA is fine, but too much I begin to wonder....
Is over-excessive PDA just for Display only?
Was the girl just showing the other people in the mrt that she is happily in love? Actually seriously, I don't think they care either. It's not like she/he is some big-time celebrity....
I think it's more important to show your loved one than other unimportant people.
Don't you think so? But how much is too much for you?

I'VE FINALLY FINISHED THE HK SERIAL!
Oh my goodness....I crammed everything in like 6 days. I watched from 7pm to 12plus in the morning for working days and chionged the whole way on Friday and Saturday. 30 episodes! Each about 40mins long! SIAO BO!!!!!
I didn't really like the ending, cos it's like too short. Liked more of the beginning part and the middle....I was really exhausted by the twists, plots and schemes towards the end. So anyway it's over so here I am blogging again!
I must finish what I start....this is the way I am. So that's why I was so obsessed in finishing the geisha book and this serial.
Minishorts submitted a post(and put a nice picture of me! She's so sweet!) in BlogsMalaysia regarding my trip to KL last weekend. And nice CowboyCaleb published it!
Haven't been mentioned in "conglomerate" blogs for a while.
Seriously I don't know how to describe sites like Tomorrow.sg and BlogsMalaysia....you can't call them a blog....because they are made up of entries by other people that make up the website.
Somehow, CONGLOMERATE comes to my mind. Don't ask me why.
Okies, more blogging laters. Shall go for movie now.

Yeah, I can understand for I was a victim once. Trapped in a corner with the couple right in front of me and I do not know where to look. Had to keep on sms-ing my friends to take my eyes off my front. Rude they might not be in PDA, but rude I will be should I just tell them to stop the foreplay.

bahhhhhhhh mine's worse.there was this teenage couple.13-14 yrs old i suspect given by their height.(hohoho) anyhoo,i saw them when i was having lunch at mcdonalds and they were sitting at a very very very noticeable spot and french kissed there.gross or what?
I seen a couple having sex in a park before. It was totally disgusting considering the fact that it was in the morning. =/ They seemed to enjoy people looking at them. But, er, people cycle past and all, but no one really see. I was sitting nearby with occasionally glances. So irritating. What's worst, both are not good looking. =/ If it was brad pitt and angelina jolie, wa... sure see. LOL!!!! Anyway, after that some police came and they were told to go off. But it was after sex already.
i totally agree... it is like these couples cant get a room? they do it everywhere... mrt, queuing up, clubs...
they have to act so lovely dovey.. LOL and most of the time the girl must cling onto the guy like he will run away.

Oh man, i am one such victim too just last week... was standing in front of this couple... both of them were of professional office attire... adults hor... and were french-kissing passionately.... the guy even smacked the woman's backside... wah liew....they were chatting so happily and giggling away... as if i were invisible lor.. they alighted at orchard and french kissed several times till yishun station lor... *roll eyes*
just a thought, if you were to see couples french kissing in paris, in a paris subway, paris street, paris restaurant... or hugging tightly walking along the streets of paris....
would that make u feel uncomfortable or wld u go AAwww so romantic??
i dunno, why can't sporeans embrace romance but when they go overseas, they "adapt" extremely well... hmm...

Hrmm...interesting point Gabrielle. For that matter, if we were to see two ang mohs french kissing each other in public in Sg, which happens quite frequently, normally what's our view?
i dunno, but in my point of view, kissing in public is OK. French, peck, watever.. just not MAKing Out like you can just strip and have sex there and then.
Chinese, angmoh, actualy i'm ok.
But i guess some ppl might think "Haiz, they ang moh mah, so they more passionate" or something???
I think everything is ok as long as you cross the line.
A little kiss, a little hug here and there is alright...but if they are smooching and groping each other..then its really weird...
